I’ll buy you a beer at SXSW, if you can find me
It is just one month away and it seems like everyone is going to SXSW this year. I’ve been to @media before, but this will be my first time to SXSW; I am very excited! This past year or so I’ve really gotten more active online and have started to meet more and more people. Those closest to me can tell you, the only thing I like more than talking design is grabbing some beers and talking design. If you’re a loyal reader, I’ll buy you a beer if you can find me at one of the many bars in Austin at SXSW this year.
So, I am not one to jump on the Blog promotional give-away bandwagon – but I thought I would try something a bit different. I really want to meet the people that read my Blog (insert joke here about how small that audience is). I love drinking and I love talking shop – I’ve often said that the best way to really connect is in a relaxed and casual environment; usually over some beers. So, not a promotion and not a contest – simply say “hey” if you see me around and lets grab a drink together; on me.
I look forward to meeting a lot of you this year in Austin. Are you going to SXSW this year?

Mike, no problem. Yeah, lets grab some beers — hell why wait for SXSW, I am sure I will see you at the next Refresh meeting, right?

hrrm, I could probably hit up the next Refresh but this time I’ll need to find somewhere to stay overnight. I don’t think I can make that double duty drive again (or rather wouldn’t want to make it).
