Thank you Andy Budd – an unexpected Christmas gift

I woke up this Christmas Eve to see to my delight that I’ve won a copy of “CSS Mastery“, by Andy Budd. I entered Andy’s “Letter to Santa” competition earlier this month. I didn’t expect to win, but thought such a creative contested deserved an entry. I really enjoy contests such as these; promoting great web resources through creativity (outside of traditional web design). I didn’t win the grand prize, an iPod Nano, but I did win 1 one 6 copies of Andy’s latest book, “CSS Mastery”.

So, Thank you Andy for putting this contest together and for selecting me – it was nice to see that I was a close contender for the grand prize. I highly recommend that everyone get a copy of “CSS Mastery” – it also makes a heck of gift for colleagues or your creative team.

As promised in my letter to Santa, you can expect a little redesign under-the-hood of my site early in the New Year. Often we are so swamped with work and freelance that our personal sites tend to take a back-seat – often representing our knowledge nearly two years outdated.

I am in sunny San Diego this year with family, so I will be a little silent until the end of the month. Merry Christmas everyone!

Curious about the redesign? It's more of a design satire then a reflection of personal taste: Read More
